As a 19 yr old i have been competing with sound systems for 3 years whether i was the judge or the competitor. I have always leaned toward the brands of mtx and rockford fosgate, until i bought a pair of these subs. I currently have two in a box my friend and i built to comp regulations, not only am I the audiably loud in my car club of three i also hit the second hit dbs in the group (mind you im up against a 2004 f150 with four mtx tr75 10s which hit and impressive 130+ dbs in an under the seat design but im up againt a 1997 ford explorer 4door with four mtx tr75 12s at 144dbs), i hit 141.1dbs with these subs in the back of a 95 dodge dakota, so needless to say now but these subs absolutly out perform any subs and at half to a quarter of the wattage.

nice clean base... thumps pretty good with the right amp. I'm running it on a 500 Rockford Amp and it sounds pretty decent.
would've been nice it could handle more.

I replaced the woofers in my cervin vega d9 speakers with these - they sound great - deep clean bass. For another $20 I replaced the tweeters also - with Pyramid TW44 Heavy Duty Titanium Super Tweeters. My speakers now sound like reference speakers.
